Thank you for supporting VisionRunUSA and joining us in bringing attention to the issues faced by people who are blind and visually impaired – an average unemployment rate of 70%, an obesity rate of 66%, and a depression rate double that of the general public.

At 43-years-old, with just 15% of my eyesight remaining, I was scared and had isolated myself. I reached out to United States Association of Blind Athletes (USABA), a 501c3 that supports athletes who are blind and visually impaired and started running again. It was the support of USABA and a community of blind athletes across the country that pulled me out of the depression I’d found myself in.

USABA has graciously agreed to partner with me and help cover expenses to make VisionRunUSA possible for which I am extremely grateful. In addition to supporting me, your donation will also help USABA raise awareness and support to help others rise above their circumstances and experience the hope I have through physical activity and community. Your support helps enable thousands of Americans who are blind and visually impaired to experience confidence and independence through sports and physical activity, like I have.

Check donations should be made out to "United States Association of Blind Athletes" with "VisionRunUSA" written in the memo section.
